DJ Que from Newstalk 93 Fm has changed his name to JIMMYQ
DJ Que from Newstalk 93 FM has opted to change his name to JIMMY Q, based on advice by his Public Relations manager.
“I have been pondering a name change for some time now and I got some professional advice about it, and was told that a name change would be a good move for my career. I decided to work with JIMMYQ, since a lot of people did know me as JIMMY already so I jus added the Q.” he said with a smile He adds, “I know the importance of naming and branding in this business. I have achieved a lot under the name DJ Que but it is time to move on to JIMMY Q now.”
Dubbed as a young prodigy, JIMMY Q is known for his tight mixes every Monday to Friday on Newstalk 93fm. Apart from being a well accomplished in house DJ, he’s also a favorite with a lot of campus fetes and is an avid member of Kurt Riley’s Team Party Animal.
“I know my market, they love me on campus and not only there but right across Jamaica. I have had the opportunity to play and connect with my fans in some remote areas some times and I just love it. It is a good feeling to be out there on the road, meeting and connecting with people.” he said
For the rest of the year JIMMYQ promises more appearances across the island and overseas and as always he will be locking it down on Newstalk 93 fm. He will also be working closely with M.I.A. Production.
Fans can keep up with JIMMYQ on twitter/IG/soundcloud @jimmyQja or email jimmyQja@hotmail.com
