Dj Nicholas Planting like Paul

(Jamaica)
DJ Nicholas
A humble servant who is diligent with his craft and ministry, The DJ is to be credited for much of the creative work behind his popular 'On The Shout' brand and ministry. Already, Nicholas has been booked for the two premier Caribbean gospel events, 'Barbados Gospel Fest' & 'Fun in the Son' Jamaica and is being sought after by several other islands.
The DJ remains cutting-edge and relevant to his audience, and this is evidenced by his sizeable social media following. With over 20,000 fans from Jamaica alone on Facebook and within the top 40 of Global Rankings for Gospel Music on ReverbNation, the gospel reggae artiste must be doing something right. With a 90 per cent teenage and young adult following, DJ Nicholas is poised to make significant impact on the nation's youth and young people at large. It was no surprise, therefore, that Nicholas took home the Youth Views Award 'Gospel artiste of the year 2012' award, a title he has snatched twice before with five consecutive nominations.
He has also been nominated for The Atlanta Caribbean Awards Gospel DJ of the Year, Performer of the Year and Album of the Year for his most recent project, School Of Volume, which was released in October 2011.
In keeping his Caribbean missions alive, Nicholas recently performed in Costa Rica, a predominantly Spanish-speaking country and just completed a promotional tour in England. He declares that he believes God will expand his base in Europe and Africa.
Excitement
is currently brimming on his Facebook page with the sneak preview of his video called Meet My Star which is to be released soon. The video is said to have adopted an international flavour as the artiste compares the pursuit of stardom by American celebrities to his own pursuit of God.
The DJ gives God all the credit for his ministry. It is clear that Nicholas' success is the result of nothing but hard work and a passion for God. He loudly declares that he will never stop ministering in Jamaica even though his ministry is now set to take on an international arm.
He's an integral part of 'A Betta Tomorrow', a major outreach founded by Kevin Smith. Nicholas believes that Jamaica will be known for the gospel of Jesus Christ. He is now fulfilling the greater commission and has already started planting seeds like Paul in other territories by preaching the gospel through reggae music.
He is thankful for his supporters, being fully aware that he is not a traditional gospel minister. Quoting one of his favourite scriptures, "If they're not against us they are with us," Nicholas says he will forever strive to please God and be the best family man he can, and hopes to extend his family soon. As long as lives are being changed and souls are being saved, he will continue his relentless pursuit to preach the gospel the best way he knows how.
