Dispute over Lutan Fyah's and Khalilah Rose's photo size led to show cancellation
by DRW
(Jamaica & U.S.A)
Jah Is Living
A double CD launched set which was set for June 19th at the Culture Barn in Brooklyn was cancelled because of a dispute between reggae artiste Lutan Fayah and the promoters over the size of his photo on the flyers.
Lutan Fyah and fellow reggae artiste Khalilah Rose were headliners for the show but according to a BBM message send to us (dancehallreggaeworld.com) he is saying that he (LUTAN FYAH) is the bigger artiste and thus, his photo should be bigger than that of Khalilah Rose.
HERE IS THE MESSAGE SEND TO US
The event scheduled for 19th June in Brooklyn New York "Jah is living" with Lutan Fyah & Khalilah Rose double cd release is CANCELLED!
Lutan Fyah became upset with the promoters because Khalilah Rose pic on the posters is the same size as his & he told the promoters that he's the bigger artist & they need to redo the posters & since the promoters refused to fall victim to ignorance & told him they will not change it,he said this to them "Fuckery u a talk!mi nah do nuh fuckery launch,a matter a fact u can cancel mi outa ur big fuck up plan mi bigger & better than khalilah rose",those were Lutan fyah words,so the promoters did just that, cancelled the event!
