Dipmatik and Terry Linen Collaborate on Gospel Track
by The PR Place JA
(Kingston)

After recording 'Rooted and Grounded' in 2014, recording artistes Dipmatik and Terry Linen suffered an unfortunate event that prevented them from releasing the single.
Fast forward to almost a decade later, the two artistes decided to reunite and successfully release the single.
'Rooted and Grounded' comes to us as a co-production between Paul Patmore Production and Dipmatik's label, Yardaz Recordz.
When asked about the single Dipmatik shared; "A few years ago I made a beat that was ideal for a gospel track and being that I love Rooted and Grounded, I asked Terry Linen to sing the chorus and I did the verses. We recorded the track and returned to the studio to get news from the engineer that the files were missing. We canned the entire idea after that until Paul Patmore sent me a beat that brought back the song to life in my spirit. I contacted Terry Linen once again and he was ready, after we recorded we knew we had a hit on our hands".
The reformed version of the track was released on September 10.
Since being released, 'Rooted and Grounded' has managed to garner thousands of streams as well as gain airplay on several major radio stations worldwide.
"The single is slightly different from the initial recording because this time around I infused Afro beat with Reggae to give listeners an upbeat Gospel song, I combined Dian Barnett's original Rooted and Grounded chorus with David G's Yahweh and Mercy Chinwo's excess love choruses. The fans are responding to it very well and I am thankful for the continued support while we continue to bring forth good music" Said Dipmatik.
The visuals for Rooted and Grounded is expected to hit Vevo in coming weeks.
Co-producer Paul Patmore shares that he has since recorded Jodian Pantry and Little Hero on the rhythm and will have future co-productions with Dipmatik including an album.
