Digicel & Omari Banks Bring Holiday Cheers to the Kids of Arijah Children’s Foundation
Reggae Star Omari Banks took a break from his "No Point To Prove" promotional trail to bring musical holiday cheers to the inspirational children of Arijah Children’s Foundation in Anguilla.
Digicel, the largest mobile telecommunications operator in the Caribbean stopped by the Blossom center / Arijah Foundation in Anguilla to provide ipads for the kids, while Omari sang a song for the beautiful Arijah Harrigan, the Daughter of founder Renuka Harrigan. Humbled by the young girl, Omari stated " It's always great to bring joy and put a smile on a person face, when its a child it is even more special, I'm happy to partner with Digicel for such a meaningful contribution to the youth of Anguilla."
Arijah Harrigan has a foundation named after her because she was born special. Her family created a non-profit foundation in her namesake and bearing her brother’s handprint in order to bring hope and the promise of a brighter future for Arijah and children like her. Founded in 2006 the Arijah Children's Foundation is a non-profit fundraising organization for the Blossom Centre where Anguilla's children with special needs receive education and therapies to help them learn how to walk and talk and gives hope for a brighter future.
Through the kind and generous donations of many individuals, businesses and community groups, the Foundation opened the Blossom Centre on September 6, 2010 and today provides daily educational and therapeutic programs and services for Anguilla’s children with special needs.
