DeeWunn Completes Second Europe Tour And Hits The Canadian Reggae Charts
Jamaican Emcee, DeeWunn has returned to his Canadian home after completing his second four week club tour across Germany this year.
The “Bunx Up” artist pleased crowds in popular mainstream clubs in cities such Osnabrück, Paderborn and Dortmund, as well as performing at the infamous Club Mondiale in Beek, Netherlands.
“Europe has been an eye opener for me, quite inspiring to say the least. The tour(s) allowed me to perform at several mainstream clubs across Germany, I was able to see first hand the hold Jamaican music has on people.” says DeeWunn.
DeeWunn tours alongside Beat Camp Entertainment, a booking agency responsible for touring Dancehall acts such as Charly Black, Leftside, Million Stylez, Wayne Wonder and the late J Capri across Europe. These artists have all made a strong impact in Europe music scene and are the most toured Dancehall acts across Europe to date.
DeeWunn further explains, “Dancehall is very much alive, but there is a clear formula - it’s all about taking that formula and adding your twist, making it yours.”
The artist was welcomed home with news of hitting the Canadian Reggae Charts with recent single “Ribbibunx”. The charts which are put together by Rebel Vibez is aired weekly on Mondays during the “Rebel Vibez Show” on Toronto’s Vibe 105.
As we head into 2018, DeeWunn has a slew of new music ready to be released including a few records produced by TJ Records and other prestige producers.
