Dancehall Music Takes Over Kenya
Reggae/Dancehall selector, DJ Mura (based in Kenya), who has done work with and for some of Jamaica’s most respected artists, is now hosting two TV shows dedicated to highlighting the Dancehall culture and lifestyle. Both shows are on Youth TV channel which is available on a cable network that covers all of East Africa.
On one of the shows, “The Take Ova” he plays Dancehall videos in addition to featuring Kenyan dancers and Dancehall artists. It airs from 10am to 12pm every Saturday. The second show is called THE ZONE WITH DJ MURA and it comes on from 6-7pm every Saturday, here he plays both Reggae and Dancehall.
