Dancehall History at House Of Dancehall this Saturday - June 24, 2017
The much talked about ON STAGE reunion of Beenie Man and the Original Dancehall Queen Carlene is days away – sold out crowd anticipated at Kingston most authentic Dancehall Venue
Beenie Man has collaborated with Mya, danced on the beach with Janet Jackson and provided the former Lady Saw now Minister Marion Hall with the Healing long before she became a Christian.
He recently posted a video with former Miss World Lisa Hanna beaming about their years of friendship and faced off with DJ Angel in their much publicized separation but there is one thing he has never done where women are concerned – be on the stage with the mother of one of his children and his most famous ex – the Original Dancehall Queen Carlene…and yes, it is confirmed, not FAKE NEWS as it is being held at the growing Kingston Dancehall Hot Spot, House of Dancehall known for its big acts which includes legends such as Josey Whales, Frankie Paul and Burru Banton and todays stars such as Agent Sasco, Masicka and Bugle.
Dancehall’s former Royal Couple will be advised to wear dark glasses when they enter the stage together as the media credentials requests are increasing for the historic moment so the paparazzi will be in full effect flashing their camera lights. Other celebrities and stars have confirmed their attendance. How will Beenie react? Will Carlene make him nervous? Or will they “kiss and make up”? Will it be “ole fyah stick easy fi ketch” or will Beenie tell her “I am OK?” Who knows.
Beenie Man’s long illustrious career has been filled with so much controversy and headline grabbing events and this Saturday night will be one of those headline moments whatever he and Carlene does on stage. His clashes with Bounty, his love life with famous Jamaican women and his ability to bounce back from life challenges makes him one of the most adored enduring Dancehall superstars. That stardom comes with him being asked to close many shows and often having to rush through his songs but House of Dancehall is guaranteeing fans 100% of Beenie Man as he is the Main Event at their Satdeh Nite Live.
Reviving older riddims has become a trend lately, ever since Rvssian did it with his 2010 compilation Go-Go Club Riddim and rebranded it as the Dutty Money
