CJ Killawno's career moving forward
Mosade recording artiste, CJ Killawno, is all smiles as he continues to reap success from his hard-hitting single, 'Can't Get Me Down'.
The track that was produced by Austria-based record label, Lyrical War Records. It recently entered the Top 10 of the Jamaica Music Countdown Top 25 Reggae Singles Chart.
"This is a good look for my career. I've been pushing this song for almost a year now, and the hard work is paying off. It is a very good song. the people love it because of its positive message. This is my first local top-ten hit. I feel very proud of this achievement," he said.
The deejay is also one of the most popular tattoo artists in Montego Bay. plans to build on the success of Can't get Me Down, as he looks to push his career up the musical ladder.
"Can't Get Me Down has brought me a lot of attention I want to build on its success and take my career to higher levels. Right now I'm working on a lot of new projects and getting requests for shows, both locally and overseas. Things are looking very bright," he said.
CJ Killawno is doing promotions in North America.
"Over the last few weeks, we've covered a lot of the cities in Florida. I'm also scheduled to visit a few more states, including New York, before the end of the tour. I was originally scheduled to tour Europe this month, but my team has rescheduled my European tour. I also have some shows coming up in Canada," he said.
