Reggae Soul artiste Chuck Fenda is flattered that International Rapper Cardi B chose to vibe to his single 'Coming Over Tonight' in an Instagram post a few days ago.
The singer, who saw the post on Cardi B's Instagram Stories, believes this is testament to the kind of music that he records, music that is timeless.
"This song was released in 2007 and is still very very popular even today, the song is loved by so many including Cardi B and it's a great feeling for me when you see how people react to my music even 12 years later," Fenda noted
‘Coming Over Tonight’ was released in early 2007 on the Ghetto Blues Riddim produced by Christopher Birch and features female songbird Cherine Anderson. The single was later added to Fenda's ‘Living Fire’ Album in the same year.
In the Instagram post, Cardi B is vibing in the mirror while the song plays in the background, she sings along while her significant other Offset (from popular group Migos) comes up behind her and starts kissing her on the neck.
"It's not the first time international artistes have posted reggae songs but for me I appreciate that Cardi B chose my song to share with her over 42 Million fans. Thanks to Birch and Cherine and the fans who helped make the song what it is today,' Fenda added
Currently in Haiti where he is headlining 2 major events, Chuck Fenda is set to visit the US this weekend for performances before returning to Jamaica to continue promoting his new single 'Gideon Hot' produced by Suncity DJ Fire Wayne.
