Chan Dizzy's 'Loyalty Fi Loyalty' a success
Dancehall rookie Chan Dizzy is creating waves with his latest single, 'Loyalty Fi Loyalty'. The track was produced by the New York-based Studio Vybz label.
In a release to the media, Chan Dizzy, whose real name is Kamar Ho-Sing explained the storyline behind the song.
"I had been going through a situation where I was on the receiving end of disloyalty between a good friend and myself and instead of acting on my thoughts of how I felt the situation should have been handled, I decided to put pen to paper and vent and express myself in that way," said Chan Dizzy. "I like to make music that is relatable and I know a lot of people can relate to the concept and lyrics of the song."
Chan Dizzy plans to add fuel to the promotion of the track with the release of a video which was recently shot in Fort Lauderdale, USA. It was directed by Duane G (MQ Productions). Duane G has done videos for rappers Pusha T and Fabolous.
Chan Dizzy shot on to the musical radar in 2010 with the hit single, Strange Face. He later followed up with the chart-topping single Hello Bad Mind, among others.
"I have been working tirelessly in the studio building my catalogue of songs. I have a song called Love of My Life, which was produced by Rvssian; there's Action Less Talk which was produced by Swedish- based Adde Instrumentals; Bung Bangers from Tampa, Florida, produced Bredrin Girl; and Where Are They Now was produced by Jamie Roberts for YVP," he said
Reviving older riddims has become a trend lately, ever since Rvssian did it with his 2010 compilation Go-Go Club Riddim and rebranded it as the Dutty Money
