Bugle's Album Debuts At No.3 Ahead of Arizona Concert
While receiving a surfeit of birthday wishes from fans and industry peers across the globe, Reggae stalwart Bugle also got the best gift in the form of a surprise announcement after his sophomore album ‘Be Yourself’ released on January 30th (his birthday) debuted at No.3 on the Swedish iTunes Top 200 albums chart.
Prior to its release Bugle was quoted in a recent interview saying the project is his best work yet and hope fans will share his view; well it appears the fans have concurred. The fifteen track compilation executively produced by his An9ted Entertainment imprint is doing very well on the European circuit, a trend the Rastafarian crooner hopes will transcend into other markets across the globe.
A seemingly elated Bugle said he is very pleased with the announcement,
“As an artiste I want the best for everything I do, however I try not to put expectations on my work because sometimes that allows us to become overreaching in our efforts and when things don’t materialize how we envision then we are disappointed. So for me I just do the work and leave the rest to the fans. Admittedly, I will say I am very humbled and at the same time pleased to hear the album has made such an impact in its first few days which also goes to show that people will always appreciate good music amidst all the controversy happening presently.”
Currently available on iTunes and all major digital platforms Bugle continues to aggressively campaign with the album. Last week he premiered the official video for ‘Ganja” the first single from the project featuring Shaggy. The visuals can be viewed via his official Vevo account at ‘BUGLEAN9TEDVEVO’
Meanwhile, after intense performances at ‘Dub Love’ held at Redbones Blues Cafe and UWI Integration Thursdays the ‘Rasta Party’ singer is slated to depart the island this week for a Valentine’s concert in West Devonshire, Phoenix, Arizona where he’s billed as the sole headliner for the Saturday, February 11th showcase.
