Bugle and Shaggy Shoots Video For 'Ganja', Album Set For January 30th Release
Currently gearing up for the release of his sophomore album Reggae stalwart Bugle has enlisted the services of accomplished director Jay Will to shoot the video for ‘Ganja’ featuring Shaggy. The single, is the first from his upcoming album titled ‘Be Yourself’, slated for release later this month (January 2017) .
Shot throughout the thoroughfares of Jamaica with stops in Kingston, St. Andrew and St. Thomas the concept though taking an unconventional approach is somewhat self explanatory as the entertainers advocate for marijuana, the story is further bolstered by the picturesque backgrounds of the Caribbean island known for its breathtaking sceneries.
The video is schedule for release later this month and Bugle urges fans and music lovers to throw their full support behind the project.
“This is a great song and the first from the album, the director has done a good job of capturing the essence of what we are trying to communicate through the music, so I am encouraging fans and just lovers of good music to throw their full support behind this one when its released.”
The fifteen-track compilation is the follow-up to the highly successful ‘Anointed’ released three years earlier. ‘Anointed’ dubbed one of the best albums of 2014 garnered him much attention with comparisons to Buju Banton’ ‘Til Shiloh’ and Sizzla’ ‘Da Real Ting’ the project also earned him a spot on MTV Jams with ‘Move Dem’ featuring Julian Marley amassing over a million views online amid an extensive tour of Africa, Europe, North America and the Caribbean.
‘Be Yourself’ is executively produced by Bugle and will be distributed by Empire a U.S based company also responsible for ‘Strictly Roots’ the Grammy Award winning album from Morgan Heritage.
