BERES HAMMOND, LOUIE CULTURE, ROMAIN VIRGO and (CHRISTOPHER MARTIN performing ONLY on AUG 13th) for JAMMINS REGGAE FEST three concert series, one weekend.


Reggae fans within and outside of the Tri-State area, are in for a special treat with a trio of shows scheduled for Connecticut, New Jersey and Long Island on the weekend of Friday, August 11th to Sunday, August 13th, featuring some of the biggest names in the reggae genre.

Organizers of the exciting concerts -- which is Pt10 of the Singers In Action series and is titled Jammins Reggae Fest -- say that this set of dream shows has long been in the making.

Then on Saturday, August 12th, the second leg of the Jammins Reggae Fest - Singers in Action Pt.10 series has become a staple summer event at NJPAC in Newark, New Jersey. The lineup of heavyweight artistes are all eager to connect with their fans and sing all of their favourite songs. The weekend concert series comes to a fantastic climax on Sunday, August 13th with a dazzling showcase that will throw an additional young legend in the mix, and reggae lovers will agree that it will indeed be a ‘Big Deal’.

The Catholic Health outdoor Amphitheater in Farmingville in Long Island, New York, will play host to, not three, but four superb reggae and lover’s rock artists -- Beres Hammond, Louie Culture, Romain Virgo and Christopher Martin.

Beres Hammond has been thrilling fans for more than five decades and he never gets tired. His vocals have been paired with various riddim tracks, and he has given fans classics such as What One Dance Can Do, Tempted To Touch, Putting Up Resistance, Come Back Home and Double Trouble.

In February, 2021, Harmony House and VP Records presented Love From A Distance Live, a streaming event for his global fan base during the pandemic. The video, featuring special guest appearances by Buju Banton, Marcia Griffiths, and Popcaan, has amassed 1.7 million views.

In 2007, Romain Virgo made history as the youngest contestant ever to win Digicel Rising Stars, Jamaica’s talent competition, at the age of 17. Sixteen years later, his career continues on an upward trajectory and his ever-increasing global fan base attests to this.

Numbered among the sought-after reggae artists in entertainment, Christopher Martin won Digicel's Rising Stars in 2005 and is best known for the songs Cheaters Prayer, I'm a Big Deal, Let Her Go and Is It Love. He has performed in the Caribbean.

United States and Africa and has also developed a strong presence in Asia.
