Beenie Man set to appear on VH1’s ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’

Internationally-acclaimed Dancehall superstar, Beenie Man will appear on the popular VH1 reality series, Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta as he looks to put the finishing touches on a new single which could feature on the show’s soundtrack.
The revered deejay will travel to Atlanta on Tuesday where he will link up with one of the show’s cast members, Karlie Redd to record vocals their collaborative single, Got The Draws. Redd, a hip-hop artist, model and actress reached out to Beenie about possibly doing the single and, through links with the deejay’s management teams in Jamaica and the United States, was able to secure his services.
In a radio interview Monday, Beenie Man hinted that he could make an appearance on Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta, which is currently airing its second season.
“We did a song together last year for the last season, so this song is for the new season really,” he told IRIE FM. “Mi a go do a likkle part inna it and balance it.”
The self-professed ‘King of the Dancehall’ will be in the U.S. until next week and confirmed he will return to the island for a short while before oversea out for a bulk of the summer.
VH1's Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta season two, which premiered in April, features a star cast of hip-hop artists and models, including Lil Scrappy, Benzino, K. Michelle, Stevie J, Joseline Hernandez and more.
