Reggae superstar Barrington Levy is amping up promotion on his latest single, 'Love The Way She Love,' featuring Mr Vegas.
Self-produced, it was done for Levy's Black Roses Entertainment label, and the video is already generating a lot of attention stateside.
"I have been getting a good deal of buzz with the song. The urban hip hop community has embraced the song. This week, I will be doing interviews on G Unit Radio and Shade45 radio on XM Satellite Radio. I also did an interview with the hip hop website, thisis50.com, and I premiered the video on the website as well.
"I have also submitted the video to MTV and VH1, and am awaiting word on what will happen," Levy said. The video is also in heavy rotation on local cable channels.

While in the USA, Levy also performed on urban radio station Factory 99FM's Summerjam show in North Carolina.
"It was a great event. I was the only reggae act because it was like a hip hop show with artistes such as Future, Rich Homie Quan and Plies. My performance tun up, my voice coming through the speakers, wow ... unlimited tun up, the hard-core hip hop crowd was singing Murderer, word for word," he said, chuckling.
The overseas leg of Levy's promotional blitz is being handled by Platinum Camp Records. The 49-year-old is hoping this collaboration will help him tap into a younger generation of fans.
According to Levy, collaborating with younger artistes helps him stay fresh in an evolving music scene.
"It introduce yuh to a different audience an' keep yuh current. The way things are in the business now, it don't mek sense yuh put out a album every year."
Collaborating with dancehall and hip hop artistes has introduced Levy to a new generation of fans.
In 1998, he and Bounty Killer teamed up on the monster hit, Living Dangerously.
Two years later, he had a sizable hit in Bad Boy, alongside American rapper Shyne.
In 2010, Grammy-winning group Black Eyed Peas sampled his song Here I Come (Broadway). Levy racked up more than three million hits on YouTube with Here I Come.
