Born Steve Mitchell Raised in the Fruitful and beautiful parish of Highgate,St Mary at a young age he discovered soccer and harnessed that skill receiving a scholarship to attended college abroad at Texas (Huston Tillotson College) after which he later got another scholarship to attend Liberty University in Lynchburg VA, where he competed at the highest Collegiate level in Soccer NCAA Conference; having completed University, Mitchell return home in Jamaica in year 2000 to play Premier League for Constant Spring Football Club which is home to his recording studio Rokus Records, where he is now a full time artist that does inspirational and real life music to the delight of a rapidly growing fan base, as BaLLaG is also an individual that's a patriarch and represent the voice of the oppressed and impoverish people.

"I see music as the tool and universal language that can bind us together regardless of race, nationality or greed "My Glory" has become a door opener for Balla G it has gained him international fans and supporters while "Not A Criminal" which features "Cash" A U.K recording artist is being used as an anthem for different communities in the United Kingdom.
