Award winning Reggae band Chalice releases inspirational single
by StreetCred Jamaica
Wayne Armond, vocalist and guitarist for the popular Reggae band Chalice, has officially released a brand new single entitled ‘It’s Alright’.
The track, written by Armond and produced by himself and Natural High Music, Is set to inspire persons who are disheartened during any challenging time.
'It's Alright' was released after conversations Armond had with family and friends who were concerned with what was going on during the current pandemic. He played the track for them with the intention of motivating them and even himself to be strong.
After a plethora of positive responses, he decided to release the track as a single now, although it is also slated to be a part of the full-length Chalice project currently being recorded.
"It’s Alright is meant to give hope during any trying time. Those who are having challenges dealing with any personal battles can be motivated by this song. We released the song now because we thought there are so many who need that kind of inspiration right now, " Wayne shared
The track has been officially released on digital platforms and should see visuals being recorded and released this summer.
Wayne Armond has done work with many major artists over the years including; Rita Marley, Marcia Griffiths, Buju Banton and Jimmy Cliff and has had a few performances cancelled over the last three months, including an event in Jamaica in March, due to the Corona pandemic.
