Downsound recording artiste Nature has teamed up with Italian reggae star Albarosie on a new single titled Warrior.
The song was produced by Joseph Bagdonavich's Downsound Records and Clifton 'Specialist' Dillon. The collaboration came about after both managers met to discuss its possibility, which Dillon initiated.
Nature, who has also recorded singles with other recognised international acts such as Gentleman, Kymani Marley, Etana, Jewel and Wyclef, has made a sudden rise to stardom since the release of his smash hit, World Peace. He followed that up with Trying Man and the more-recent Revolution.
Albarosie, known for songs like No Cocaine, Kingston Town and Still Blazing, has performed regularly in front of sold-out audiences, selling over a million units and solidifying his reputation as an established international act.
The single, which intends to bring out the militancy in everyone, was premiered on DJ Wayne show on Irie FM via Contractor's Marketing, which is the marketing arm of the Kingston-based label Downsound Records.
The response to the single thus far has been overwhelming and there is a video in the making. Both artistes have expressed great optimism regarding the future successes that the song will experience.
"The song brings great inspiration to all its listeners. I think this will be a song most people will like because it is easy to relate to and the messages gives you that sort of inspiration you'll need on your journey through life," said Nature.
His sentiments were echoed by Contractor, real name Sean Edwards. "I have listened to track and I can say, without a doubt, that it will be a song for the ages," he said.
