Ak Songstress Is About To Raise The Bar.
Ahead to the opening of her Nite Club (Hortical Nightclub), AK Songstress is about to raise the bar.
She is known for Dancehall and has the crown as the Queen of Dancehall. Best female musician (GH) Citi People Awards Nigeria 2015, Most popular Song "Superstars Reality Show" and her team winning the "Best Management" Award. Also winning Discovery of the Year Bass Awards 2014. Now she is going for Queen of Reggae Africa. She is committed to releasing Bob Marley, Lucky Dube, etc kind of classic reggae songs every month for a whole year alongside her dancehall tunes. As a matter of fact, she's is releasing the first one titled "Here I Am" on 31 October, 2015. If her classic reggae tune "True Love" is anything to go by then we are in for Classics. I will use this opportunity to uncover a cemented fact about Ak Songstress. Ak mean Dancehall and Songstress means Reggae. This authenticates the fact that she is a complete reggae dancehall artiste.
According to Ak, her inspiration comes from Lucky Dube, which means music lovers should be expecting elements of inspiration, love, life, positivity just to mention a few in her new Reggae songs she will be releasing. Watch out for the date of her first live Reggae Concert with her band.
On the other hand, she promulgated early this month that she will be opening a her new nightclub called Hortical (reggae dancehall ) Nightclub, opening 20th November 2015. The opening night is strictly by invitation. For any info about the invites kindly follow her @aksongstress on twitter, FB, Instagram .
