Ajauni Tells Tales Of Betrayal In 'Social Distance
With a mission to claim a spot among the Dancehall’s most elite, recording artiste Ajauni continues to showcase his musical ingenious by constantly delivering tracks that leave his fans in a lyrical frenzy.
The artiste who is most popularly known for his single Liu Kang, has once again stirred up a wave of musical nostalgia following the release of his track ‘Social Distance’.
As Ajauni describes the effects of betrayal in each verse, he also offers listeners applicable advice on how to make a stance against negativity.
Though the single boasts a catchy hook that has social media users engaged, when listened in depth, fans can hear Ajauni sharing bits of his past life experiences including the death of his father, Baby Wayne, among challenges he faced as a result.
When asked to describe the essence behind the track, Ajauni shared, “Practicing social distance is something I have been doing long before social distancing was a part of our day to day lives and keeping distance is not just about physicality but also distancing yourself from things that break you down mentally. We live in a time where people change everyday so in order to avoid the disappointment, mi just stay far dawg, from people”
He continued by stating; “ Since I released this track, it has been sought after by discjocks all over the world, been featured on several digital playlists and I have to thank my team, the streets and my fans for the continued love and support because without them none of this would be possible”
The visuals for the track are unique within its own right according to Ajauni and carries a storyline similar to that of Judas’ story in the Bible.
“The music video is an experience and fans have to watch it in order to be fully engulfed in the message the single brings. The momentum has been high since the song dropped and I hope to keep up that momentum with Expensive Lifestyle which will be released by Troyton Music in coming months” He concluded.
While Ajauni continues to fervently promote his new single, previously released tracks like ‘Liu Kang’ and “Shake Dat’ continue to make a dominant presence on the streets of Dancehall.
