Aidonia Wraps European Tour & Preps For Hectic Christmas Season
PRISM MARKETING CONSULTANTS | NOVEMBER 23, 2014 || Dancehall star Aidonia has returned to the island following the completion of a month-long sojourn in Europe. The deejay who departed in mid-October says his 20-city tour of that continent was a major success despite several challenges with the weather.
Spanning the expanse of Europe, the ‘One Voice’ tour made stops in the cities of Perugia, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Rennes, Lyon, Geneva, Zurich, Wuppertal and Barcelona among several others before culminating with a massive outpouring of patrons in Montpellier, France. According to the ‘Don Deh Yah’ singer both he and label-mate Deablo were well received at the various points of convergence throughout the tour.
“This time of the year is very cold in Europe but despite the inclement conditions the fans still came out in their droves and showed us a lot of love. We are very thankful and appreciative of the support. Aside from using the platform to introduce our newest songs like ‘One Heart’, ‘Love Off U Gyal’, ‘Everything Govern’ and ‘Lightening’ the overall tour was a major success and plans are already in motion for us to return next year.” – Aidonia explained. Similar sentiments were also echoed by JOP lieutenant Deablo.
With the tour behind him Aidonia is fully focused on promoting his latest video ‘Love Off U Gyal’ which recently premiered on national television to rave reviews. Shot in Ocho Rios, St. Ann the video was directed by Michael ‘BiggzShip’ Burbridge who is also responsible for several of the entertainers’ previous visuals.
“We have gotten a lot of positive feedback about the video so now that I am here again it’s time to step the campaign up another notch; also fans can look out for the official video for ‘Ryder’ and a lot of new material coming out of the camp.” – Aidonia added.
As the festive season fast approaches, the deejay is slated to depart the island in the weeks ahead for several stints throughout the Caribbean and Central America. This Tuesday November 25th, he will be performing live at Club Ville in Montego Bay, St. James.
