Aidonia To Unveil ‘1V’ Collection at Take Style Out
As local fashionistas awaits the 2014 staging of Jamaica’s Take Style Out (T.S.O) which is a localized version of Fashion Night Out slated to unfold across the island on Thursday, October 2nd they’ll definitely have something more to smile about at this year’s event aside from discounted designer garbs; and that’s because popular Dancehaller Aidonia will be finally unveiling his much talked about ‘1V’ collection to consumers.
The deejay will be rolling out his apparel line which caters to both male and female with something special for the kids. Coined from a popular slang used during his performances the ‘1V’ insignia will be prominently displayed across the various pieces. The line will include Tank Tops, T-Shirts, Pullovers, Hats and Caps all of which will be available in an assortment of colours on the night via selected stores across the island.
Even though this is not his first time dabbling into entrepreneurship Aidonia says it has always been one of his many goals to venture into other facets of business with fashion being one them. Fashion's Night Out is a global initiative, which began in 2009 as a means to encourage consumers to shop and support the fashion industry during the tough economic climate. The event has since expanded to over 20 countries becoming a staple on the calendar of many socialites.
"Ever since my emergence on the music scene I’ve always had an affinity for business. Music and fashion compliments each other and I believe starting a clothing line is a good marriage for my music. It's also something the fans have been demanding for years, and the truth is everybody likes to wear clothes." Aidonia added.
The official unveiling ceremony for ‘1V’ will take place at Triple Century Sports Bar in New Kingston owned and operated by West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle other attraction on the night includes a performance from Aidonia and members of his JOP camp.
Meanwhile, despite a full roster the ‘Run Road’ deejay and his team invaded Ocho Rios, St. Ann over the weekend to shoot a pair of videos for the chart bubblers ‘Ryder’ and ‘Wuk Off Yuh Gyal’. The latter is featured on the ZJ Liquid produced ‘Good Book’ rhythm, the official visuals will be premiered in the weeks ahead.

Dude!! Those are so awesome!! I think I might try and get a couple. With some shirts they're just a little too short and I get hot in the whole undershirt, and this is the perfect solution!! Thanks for posting this!! Men are becoming fashion conscious like their partner and therefore they are paying more attention towards their clothes. T

As the sport developed, by: Anonymous
As the sport developed, so did the dress code. After a time, from heavy fibers, soccer shirts were instead manufactured using nylon or polyester. As a result, the clothing became much lighter and easier to move around in. The change in fabric is also the reason shirts now exhibit that glowing effect.
