Hollywood, FL | January 23, 2012 - The 4th annual Soflo Dancehall & Reggae Music Awards ceremony is usually held during the first quarter of the year in March.
This year, Single Mother's of America, the non-profit organization spear-heading the production, has claimed its time & date during the festive Memorial Day weekend itinerary! Sunday May 26, 2012, Dancehall's finest will invade South Florida's Tri-County Region from New York, Philly, LA, Toronto, Atlanta & Jamaica together at the Hollywood Central Performing Arts Theater located at 1770 Monroe Street Hollywood, FL.
The media embellished Red Carpet Special starts at 6pm followed by the exuberating main show and presentations commencing at 7pm.
The 4th Annual South Florida Dancehall Awards acknowledge and honor the accomplishments and contributions of entertainers, entrepreneurs and artist of the Reggae & Dancehall arena. Created in 2008, The South Florida Dancehall Awards is the brain child of non-profit organization, Single Mothers of America (SMOA), and is operated by individuals of Caribbean decent.
SMOA wanted to find a way to infuse their message and community efforts across to others in the Caribbean Community hence the creation of the annual Soflo Dancehall & Reggae Music Awards. This event has proven it success annually, 2012 will prove its growth in excellence.
