Dann-I - Uncle Come Prod. by Sons Of Spoon Music

With Reggae as his foundation music is firmly constructed along with Rastafarian as his guide. He’s discipline, determine and dedicate to singing, writing and producing as an artist.

Dann-I born Damarah Danni on October 26, 1985 in Spanish Town Jamaica, is a singer, songwriter, musician and producer who started his professional musical career in the group “Que”, a quartet who entered the Jamaican Digicel Rising Star competition in 2005 and they were eliminated in the fifth position.

They were later signed to the Shocking Vybz label and released the singles “Que for Christmas”, “More than worthy” ,Over you”, and a few others. The group later declined to a duo in 2007 and continued to release singles produced by a host of local producers.

They got a breakthrough in 2009 with an independently produced track featuring R.P entitled “Walk Away” released on the S-Lock Label that made it on a number of local music and video top ten charts such as “The Hitlist”, “Fi Wi Choice”, “Hype and RE Tv’s top ten Damarah Danni has an authentic love for music, performing and entertaining so he decided to venture out as a solo artist. His musical influences for inspiration referencing the wide range of work by music icons like Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Dennis Brown, Mastiyahu, Beres Hammond, Maxi Priest,Garnet Silk and Boys ll Men. Now signed to the Sons of Spoon Music Label, they released three singles thus far entitled “Tek Life”, “Time Nuh Wait” and“Honey Lips”, all produced by Ronald “Sonny Spoon” Wright which is now getting major airplay on all radio stations locally and creating a buzz both Dann-I is known for is communal spirit he create with his extraordinary performance during live shows.

The singer regularly brings down the barrier between the performer on stage and the people in the audience. He’s a dynamic performer who effortlessly moves thousands of people with his invocations. Watching him, you can’t help but to fall in love with his voice and how much he delights in every moment.
